In the village centre of Porlock you'll find a small selection of eateries such as The Royal Oak pub for an indulgent meal, The Old Library Cafe for some local seafood and Whortleberry Tea Room for a lighter lunch or afternoon tea. Branch out to the coastal town of Minehead for a lazy day spent at Minehead Beach, an afternoon at Splash Waterworld Park, and head to Channel Adventure for an exciting day of kayaking and canoeing. Treat your loved one to a delicious dinner at Firehouse Grill before heading back to the cottage. A scenic drive will take you to the picturesque village of Dunster where you can visit the 12th-century National Trust - Dunster Castle and Watermill, make sure to pack some lunch for a picnic in the stunning gardens. Then, for a touch of history make your way over to The Medieval Gallery, Britain’s only fine art gallery inspired by the Middle Ages, and end the day by dining at Cobblestones Dunster with its outdoor seating area for when it's sunny out.
