Freshford House is a beautiful Georgian family home in the centre of the gorgeous historic village of Freshford. It has a large well fitted kitchen, 2 reception rooms, a study, 3 double bedrooms, one with a King size bed. It sleeps 6. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath, both have showers.
There is a roof garden at first floor level where you can sit out, it is completely private.
Each of the well appointed rooms offers a high level of comfort with elegant decor and an airy atmosphere with great views. There are 2 parking spaces directly outside the house.
It is peaceful and quiet but close to the bustle of the city of Bath. Freshford train station is a 5 minute walk away , the train is 8 minutes to Bath , 30 minutes direct to Bristol and 2 hours to London .
There is a fantastic village farm shop with fresh local produce 5 minutes walk away.
Towels and linen are provided.
The house is situated in the perfect area for everyone, both adults and children. There is lots to do. There are stately homes to visit, beautiful gardens, there is canoeing, swimming and fishing on the river, boats trips in Bath and on the canal, gorgeous villages, beautiful architecture and local pubs, the award winning Freshford Inn is a 5 minute walk . There are great walks and cycle paths.
It really does have the best of the countryside and city to offer.
