Our grade II listed cottage has been sympathetically refurbished to provide the conveniences of modern-day living whilst retaining the charm of period features: Wood-burner, inglenook fireplace, and wooden beams as well as the WiFi and flat screen HD TV. The ground floor has a living room (with double sofa-bed), study/office/reading room, dining room, and separate kitchen, shower room plus sun-room. The 1st-floor has 3 bedrooms plus an en-suite bathroom. 'Thatches' meets the needs of groups of friends as well as families with or without children and the office space and WIFI make it perfect for anyone needing to work while away. ‘Thatches’ has direct access to its fully enclosed private garden and off-street parking area and is a short stroll away from Williton's shops, pubs, and restaurants. Further amenities are just 2 miles away at the historical coastal town Watchet with its marina and fossil beaches. Sandy beaches can be found at Kilve (5 miles), Blue Anchor (5 miles), Minehead (15 miles) and beyond. This is an ideal year-round holiday or short break destination and a superb base from which to explore west somerset’s many places of interest. We have wonderful countryside on our doorstep, a beautiful coastline nearby and numerous fascinating historic buildings, museums, and other tourist attractions in the area.
