Exclusive to guests and extremely secure in fenced grounds with no direct neighbours, surrounded by countryside and farming. Behind the electric gates sits a fantastic tranquil escape away from the pressures of day to day life, perfect for large families and groups . The grounds boast mature gardens, paddock and sprawling lawns.
The property has six bedrooms with a double sofabed available in a downstairs room that can make up to a seventh bedroom. Four of the six bedrooms are en-suite, with the other two bedrooms sharing the main bathroom. The Master Bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe bigger than your usual box room. Some families use this space with the double Z bed to make the Master bedroom into a family room. Downstairs there is large kitchen / breakfast area, separate dining room, Snug, Pool table and table tennis games room, conservatory, main lounge and utility room. Just outside is the patio which has ample seating, hot tub, fire pit and waterfall. The gardens have standard swings a large trampoline aswell as a large rope swing. Unlike some other properties there are no extra charges for hot tub , Pool table , table tennis etc you can use as much as you wish. Overlooking the main patio area is very large balcony with full glass front to make most of south facing views of the Staffordshire countryside. The cottage is a mix of the traditional with Oak floors / beams and doors with a twist of the modern.
Should you wish to venture outside the grounds were situated in the South Staffordshire Countryside around a mile from the village of Penkridge which has great pubs / restaurants aswell as being located on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal. The village hold its twice weekly markets every Wednesday and Saturday. For the outdoor types your a few minutes from Cannock Chase which provides fantastic scenery and walks, aswell as a GoApe activity for the more adventurous. Staffordshire is also home of Alton Towers and Drayton Manor Theme Parks. If shopping is more for you your 10 mins drive from Wolverhampton or Stafford and around 25 mins from Birmingham all of which are easily and swiftly accessed from Penkridge train station.
Located in Stafford, this cottage is in a rural area. Tenpin Ltd and Go Ape Cannock Chase are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Cannock Shopping Centre and McArthurGlen Designer Outlet. Traveling with kids? Consider Go Kidz Go and David Austin Roses.
