The property is set close to the historic town of Ironbridge which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock are all close by and all offer plenty for guests to see and do including many independent shops and restaurants, along with access to the beautiful Shropshire Hills and many more National Trust and English Heritage sites.
Telford Steam Railway is 300 yards from the cottage and Horsehay Pool is 100 yards away. Telford town centre is just over a mile away, although you would not know how close you are to the town from the peaceful setting of this property and is home to family attractions including Telford Town Park and the children’s playground Wonderland, as well as restaurants and the town centre.
For those looking for a day out shopping, Shrewsbury town is half an hour away. Shropshire has an array of outdoor activities on offer including kayaking, canoeing, cycling, walking, gliding, golf, fishing and horse racing. The area is never short of places to visit with a plethora of castles, abbeys, farms, museums, discovery centres, gardens, parks and historic houses.
