The property is all ground floor and has two bedrooms sleeping four people, one double and one twin, sleeping four people, as well as a wet room. There is also an open plan living area, with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside you will find a patio with furniture, a lawned garden and off road parking. Close by you will find The Peak Wildlife Park, as well as lots of walking opportunities, including Dovedale, with its rocky slopes and woodland, whilst Alton Towers and Ashbourne are also within driving distance. Lark's Rise Cottage is the perfect base for a couple of small family to discover the rugged beauty of the Staffordshire Peak District and beyond.

Nearby is superb walking with Dovedale, the beautiful Manifold Valley, and the popular Manifold Cycle Track all within easy reach. There are lots of pretty villages to explore close by, many with good pubs. Alton Towers is less than 15 minutes' drive away.

Located in Leek, this cottage is in a rural area and on a lake. Foxlowe Arts Centre and Brindley Mill are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Churnet Valley Railway and Whiston Hall Golf Club.
