The living areas include a kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge, a dining room with seating for five and a sitting room with TV. The bedrooms comprise of a king-size (zip/link, can be twins on request), a double and a single, along with a bathroom. To the outside is a yard and lawned garden, along with off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.1 miles there is a shop and within 0.3 miles, a pub. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate will be provided. One pet is welcome however smoking is not permitted. 13 The Island is a great base for families looking to explore Staffordshire.

Town: Tean is a charming village in the English county of Staffordshire, south-east of Stoke-on-Trent. The River Tean flows past the settlement on its way to Uttoxeter. The village is made up of two villages: Upper Tean (the larger of the two) and Lower Tean, both of which are part of the Staffordshire Moorlands district's Checkley ward. The surrounding area is largely farming / rural, and it is a short drive into the Peak District's southern edge. There are several bars and businesses, as well as nurseries, a village hall, three churches, and a small park. Stoke on Trent is a little further away, and it has many tourist centres, award-winning museums, real factory tours, over 25 pottery factory stores, and the rare Staffordshire Hoard. Trentham Estate features Italian Gardens, a Shopping Village, a Monkey Forest, and a mile-long lake. The city is less than an hour's drive from Birmingham, Manchester, and Liverpool, and only one and a half hours by train from London Euston.
