Arriving at the property, you are greeted by two off-road parking spaces: one on the driveway and the other just to the side. Allow the designated chef to get to grips in the kitchen, utilising a number of appliances to prepare a delicious meal, while the rest of the group can set the dining table with crockery and cutlery, popping open a bottle of fizz in the process. After a satisfying feast, curl up on the sofa and tune into the TV or challenge each other to a family board game. On the first floor there are three well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a king-size, a twin (with zip/link beds) and a single, each decorated to a lovely standard. Begin your morning with a rejuvenating shower and pat yourself down with warm towel from the heated towel rail. The rear courtyard is the perfect spot to sip on a fresh coffee as you plan where to explore that day, or to enjoy a leisurely soak in the hot tub. If you don’t fancy cooking, Tean is home to a number of takeaways, including Tean Fish Bar, as well as The Ship Inn and The New Olive Tree for delicious pub grub. Enjoy a family day out to Alton Towers, one of the UK’s favourite Theme Parks, known for its exhilarating rollercoasters, spooky sights and family friends’ attractions, its perfect for all ages. For a more leisurely afternoon, venture over to Trentham Estate where you can explore the well-maintained gardens, glorious ancient woodland and a unique outdoor shopping village. The Peak Wildlife Park, with its range of birds and small animals, is within striking distance, along with the picturesque Churnet Valley where you can catch the steam train and ride through Staffordshire’s hidden valley and moorlands. Further afield is the thermal spa town of Buxton, known for its natural wonders and bustling attractions, or continue exploring the Peak District and discover a range of outdoor activities, including walking, cycling and canoeing.
