With original oak beams and stone fireplace, the cottage offers a comfortable sitting room (with sofabed) and fitted kitchen with dining table/chairs. One twin room & one double room, there is a bathroom with shower over corner bath, washbasin and lavatory. Outhouse with washing machine and separate tumble dryer. Pets welcome. With all local amenities it offers a perfect base from which to explore the many attractions and activities found in the surrounding Peak District National Park. There are many trails nearby for walking and cycling including walks from the door leading to the Monsal Trail. For a day out visit Chatsworth House or the underground caverns at Castleton, Buxton and its Opera House or take a steam train ride on the Peak Railway to Matlock Bath. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards. Free WIFI available.
