Harpur Cottage is a three-bedroom terraced stone cottage built in 1860 located on the outskirts of the popular town of Buxton, Derbyshire at the edge of the Peak District. A perfect spot to base yourself for exploring the hills and valleys of the surrounding area or exploring the spa town of Buxton. The property features three bedrooms and sleeps up five guests with two queen size beds and a single. There is a washer/dryer available for guests use and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen also features a chalk wall where you, or your little ones can show off their creative side! The spacious living room has a flat screen, smart tv and an electric fireplace for your use. The bathroom is located on the 2nd floor and features a large bathtub and shower. In terms of outdoor space, there is a small paved enclosed patio and garden at the front of the property with a table and chairs to watch the world go by, and the rear of the property has access to a shared laneway for kids to play outdoors safely away from traffic. Explore your local surroundings, where you will find the popular attractions of Buxton Museum & Art Gallery, The Pavillion Gardens and Solomon’s Temple just a short walk away! Those feeling a little more adventurous can explore the depths of Poole’s Cavern & Buxton Country Park, or if that isn’t your thing, why not test out your swing at the excellent Cavendish Golf Club or enjoy a truly unique evening at the Buxton Opera House?
