The owners have Rare Breed sheep, Borerays, grazing in a field nearby to the cottages at Rose Farm Barn. Guests are asked to be aware of their proximity and must keep their dogs on a lead if going for a walk around the three fields which the two cottages overlook.

This vacation home is located in Saxmundham. Leiston Abbey and St Peter's Church, Wenhaston are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at RSPB Minsmere and Suffolk Coast and Heaths. Pier and Henstead Exotic Gardens are also worth visiting.
