The spacious safari tent is set in its own meadow, tucked in a corner, guaranteeing privacy and quietude. Complete with a well-equipped kitchen area with sink, two ring induction hob and all the usual provisions, you won’t ever have to leave this space if you prefer to while away the days reading books, sunbathing, soaking in the hot tub or swaying in the outdoor hammock. Books and games are provided for entertainment and there is full Wi-Fi on site.
A luxurious super-king cashmere bed ensures a restful sleep in this light and bright accommodation. For cooler weather, there’s a wood burning stove to enjoy cosying beside in the stylish butterfly ranch chairs. Complete with a luxury en-suite shower, this accommodation is truly perfect for a couple’s retreat, or you can invite friends and family to stay on-site in the additional lodges and tents on offer.
The Firs Suffolk is in a dark skies area where light pollution is extremely low, making for special times surveying the skies from your private soaking tub, beside your firepit or from your hammock strung between the trees, counting the shooting stars.
No matter the season, there’s a wealth of open space and fresh air available in the picturesque grounds and meadows. This is a great choice for couple’s getaways, family reunions, and friend’s celebrations. Highly recommended for those seeking restoration, quiet, and wildlife. Beyond your tent, there’s an on-site sauna at The Piggery Spa, available for private 2-hour hire for a small additional charge. The spa facilities include sauna, external hot shower and plunge bucket, indoor shower and changing facilities, and a relaxation area with tea-making facilities and filtered water.
Dutch style bicycles are available for hire. Wander in the woods, play boules on the pétanque pitch, relax by the pond, or borrow a map and explore the fields and footpaths nearby. There’s a rustic fairy-lit outdoor dining space with a large pizza oven and firepit BBQ. The site also benefits from a shared utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.

There are four luxury lodges available to book: Stables (sleeps 4), The Butterchurn (sleeps 2), The Cowshed (sleeps 2), The Old Press (sleeps 2), as well as another tent The Bushel (sleeps 4). Alternatively, you can book the entire site for larger groups.

This cabin is located in Halesworth. Heveningham Hall and Halesworth Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Oasis Camel Park and RSPB Minsmere. Easton Farm Park and Carters Teapots are also worth visiting. Sailing and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.
