Beautiful 4 Star Rural Suffolk Cottage Overlooking Lake, Thrandeston

Lake View was converted in June 2010 from our stables to the highest of standards being awarded 4 stars by the English tourist board and with great reviews. Kiln Farm has the Mary Ley Line running through the grounds, for anyone interested in ancient pathways. The cottage has every modern convenience, with the added benefit of 2 games rooms for guests "sole use". One with pool table (£1 coin slot) and table top football and other small outdoor games, plus a library with adult and children books. The other has table tennis and darts. We also have a small carp fishing lake. We have a 3 hole chipping green and golf clubs supplied. Our chickens roam freely with their young in summer as do the ducks and their ducklings. We have visiting Canadian and Egyptian geese at certain times of year, which have been known to nest on our small lake island. One well behaved dog welcome (small extra charge paid on arrival) must book in advance as rugs removed and different bedding, but must be kept on lead and can be walked around lake walkway. Small enclosed garden with French windows from lounge and en-suite bedroom. Garden table with chairs. barbecue and loungers also available from our fishing hut. Walks abundant from doorstep. Pub nearby, dogs welcome. Home made bread and fresh eggs. Internet in cottage.
