The Cabin - Two Bedroom House, Sleeps 4, Southwold

Suffolk. Sleeps up to 4

The Cabin is a beautiful conversion of a former fisherman’s store in a fabulous location. But today there’s not a fishing net or line in sight, all signs of tackle have been replaced with a  beautiful contemporary interior which oozes style from the weather boarded exterior to the bright comfortable interior.
Accommodation is over two floors - the ground floor conservatory has expansive views over the saltings to the sea, with dining table and chairs, it’s the perfect place to relax with a coffee over breakfast or dinner. Just off the conservatory is the well equipped kitchen with everything you need during your stay. The attractive living room is furnished in retro style with wide patio doors, sofa and armchairs. The property also has the benefit of a ground floor shower room. Upstairs, the style continues into the two bedrooms offering comfortable accommodation for four guests. The family bathroom is also on the first floor alongside the bedrooms. Step outside the cabin and breathe in the fresh sea air, the private garden has fabulous views towards the sea, a lovely spot to kick off your shoes and relax.
The Cabin is perfect for getting out and about and exploring this fabulous coastline - just a short walk to the sea the picturesque pastel beach huts. Stroll along the upper promenade, beautiful at any time of year. The town’s individual shops, cafes, delis and restaurants are all on hand too - perfect for a coffee and cake while indulging in a little retail therapy. A visit to Southwold wouldn’t be complete without heading off to the pier, dating back to the 1900’s, it was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. Don’t forget to visit the lighthouse - this distinctive landmark at the centre of the town has been guiding vessels into the historical harbour since the late 1800’s.
This superb holiday home is in an enviable spot… just a stone’s throw from the beach and within easy reach of the shops, cafes and restaurants. This beachside property stands proud alongside the saltings, river estuary to the harbour and Walberswick.
