A beautifully refurbished Victorian property in the desired south side of Ashtead village at the foot of Epsom Downs, set beautiful countryside. The property sleeps a maximum of five guests and comprises one master double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom, bathroom, living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and cloakroom. Overlooking private paddocks in a rural setting, the property has a private garden and off-street parking for one car.

This quaint property is furnished with everything you need for your stay. With the restored Victorian features sitting alongside modern-day luxury, tastefully decorated with a host of quality, stylish touches, it’s an ideal holiday home.

All upper floors are fitted with carpet. Bedrooms come equipped with either king size (master bedroom) or single beds (twin and single bedrooms) with towels and linen included and hotel-grade quality mattresses. The master and twin bedrooms are situated on the first floor, with the single room on the second. Single and twin rooms both have original ornamental Victorian fireplaces and all bedrooms have black-out roman blinds.

The bathroom boasts a double walk-in power-shower, pedestal sink and heated towel rail with tiled floor.

On the ground floor is a comfortable lounge with two sofas, a digital TV with Freeview channels, coffee table and ornamental open fireplace. Free Wi-Fi is provided for all your internet needs.
The dining room has a table and chairs for all guests and an ornamental fireplace, with wood floors throughout extending from the living room through to the kitchen.

The kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher, full-height fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, single oven with extractor hood, induction hob and washing machine. All crockery and cutlery is provided along with cooking essentials, pots and pans, glassware etc.

The under stairs cupboard houses an ironing board, iron and clothes dryer for your use should you require it.

There is a cloakroom adjacent to the kitchen, off the back door lobby.
The property has full gas central heating and is double glazed throughout.

The property is within walking distance of the main High Street which has a good variety of convenience shops, barbers, post office, dry cleaners, bakery, butchers, coffee shops, a gift shop, a Marks and Spencer Food Hall and two pubs. Bus links to outlying local areas are available here.

The house is 1.6 miles from the mainline train station with regular trains into London Waterloo and Victoria and out to Guildford. Direct trains to London Waterloo and London Victoria run approximately every 15 minutes and take around 40 minutes. Wimbledon, home to the famous tennis tournament is accessible by direct train in 25 minutes.

Located near to the M25 junction 9, the property is ideally situated for quick and easy access to Gatwick and Heathrow airports which are located within half an hour’s drive of the property, and provides convenient access to many other local attractions.

Just a five-minute drive will take you to the renowned Epsom Downs with its racecourse and Queen’s Stand and views over London.

A short 10-minute drive away is the market town of Dorking which is home to Denby’s vineyard and Box Hill for breath-taking walks or cycle rides along the renowned Olympic route.
