The Old Library is situated in the heart of the charming seaside town of Brora. This historic three storey stone house retains many original features. It has been lovingly restored and is very attractively presented throughout. It accommodates up to six guests, with two bathrooms.
The main living room on the first floor is of historic and cultural interest. As the meeting room for the town library, the public meeting to agree the formation of the now renowned championship Brora golf course was held here in 1891. With its high ceilings, superb original fireplace, deep comfortable sofas and Harris tweed soft furnishings, it emits a relaxing and luxurious ambience. The original wood flooring throughout the house adds to the charm. Brora is situated on the increasingly popular North Coast 500 route, renowned for its stunning scenery and numerous places of interest. In the immediate locality is the Brora golf course, within easy walking distance. Clynelish and Brora Distilleries are world renowned and offer fascinating tours to visitors. Brora is also situated on the John o Groats trail, which follows the coast for miles and provides superb walks with the chance to spot seals, dolphins and numerous bird life along the way. Brora’s large sandy beach is just a short walk away.

This vacation home is located in Brora. Orcadian Stone Company and Timespan Heritage Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Carn Liath and Skibo Castle.
