If you’re looking for a cottage nestled in the quiet heart of old Oystermouth village, in Mumbles, Gower, The Little Red House is for you! It’s spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Detached and surrounded by its own garden, it has two private parking spaces. Its elevated position gives views of the castle and across Swansea Bay.

The space
Great for a staycation, the seafront and promenade are within 5 minutes’ walk as is Mumbles and its bustling variety of shops, cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants. The coastal path, golf courses and cycle routes will help you blow the cobwebs away, or you can explore Gower’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its famous beaches. Otherwise simply relax and enjoy Mumbles’ local attractions.

The spacious upstairs sitting room is comfortably furnished. Doors open onto a balcony with seating enough for everyone. To the front, enjoy views of Swansea Bay, the castle, and even the Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons on a clear day. The smart TV has Netflix, DVD player and there is a selection of DVDs, board games and books.

The kitchen and utility room, next to the dining room, are fully equipped. Doors open onto the terrace and garden where there is garden furniture and a washing line.

There are three bedrooms on the ground floor - two double bedrooms and a twin room. There is a shower room with walk-in shower and WC. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower cubicle and a freestanding bath.

Outside there is sole use of a lockable shed for storing bikes and buggies, surfboards, wetsuits.

Joe’s Ice Cream Parlour is a popular holiday haunt, or try a breakfast, brunch or homemade cake treat at Beach Hut tea rooms by the pier.

Local Attractions
Mumbles has a castle, a pier, a public tennis court and three generations of lifeboat stations! Hire Santander bikes for the 5 mile seaside track to Swansea with its museums, art galleries and covered market. Take a scenic walk along the coastal path or drive to the nearby countryside and beaches of Gower, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
