Oxwich Bay is only 0.2 miles from the property or venture further afield and enjoy a day out at one of the spectacular sandy beaches on the peninsular. Oxwich, is a popular spot for water sports enthusiasts and beach-goers during the summer months, take a boat trip and watch the seals basking in the sun at Worms Head. It is also home to Oxwich Castle, a 16th-century fortified manor house which is managed by the National Trust. The village is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland, and is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers.
Enter this home from the main door which leads you into the well-equipped kitchen. From here you access the rest of the cottage via the cosy lounge complete with woodburner set in an impressive stone inglenook and three comfy sofas to choose from. There is a second living area with soft seating, TV and electric fire. From this room is the handy utility room and a spacious conservatory with a large dining table and more comfortable seating, where you can relax, read and take a morning coffee looking out onto the small garden area. Upstairs you will find the four bedrooms, a king room, a double room with en-suite and a twin room also with en-suit facilities and a single room. There is also a family bathroom where you can take a bath after a day exploring this beautiful area of Wales.
Outside there is a front courtyard area with a dining table and chairs and an enclosed rear garden.
Groups or families can book this property along with the adjoining properties of The Cross - Y Groes and The Barn - Yr Ysgybor.
This vacation home is located in Swansea. Pennard Golf Course and Swansea Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit National Trust Rhossili Shop & Visitor Centre and Clyne Gardens. Blackpill Lido and LC Swansea are also worth visiting.
