Sleeping between 2 - 9 persons . Most of the cottages enjoy en suite bedrooms with large comfy beds which can be arranged as king / twin. All the cottages enjoy a patio some with gardens as well.Lying down a sleepy country lane, these stone-built cottages were converted from farm barns and have been tastefully and thoughtfully furnished giving the perfect base that’s both relaxing and ideal for exploring the diverse attractions this region has to offer. The Durham Dales with wonderful scenery, great hill walking and cycling is only a 20 minute drive, while further afield you can discover Hadrian’s Wall, Alnwick Gardens and the castles and gloriously unspoilt coastline of Northumberland – all under an hours’ drive.
