Welcoming you with a well equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a king size bed and an open plan living and dining room. To the front of the property is a lovely garden to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the village activity. A perfect retreat for a couple looking to explore the area and its many attractions for a few days or a week stay.
The village of Radway is at the foot of Edge Hill and is notable for the Battle of Edgehill, the 1st major battle of the Civil War in 1642. You can find out more about the battle in the museum located in the village church. There are some lovely country walks from the village and surrounding area. In the nearby village of Kineton you’ll find local facilities including pubs, a convenience store, the post office, butchers and a Co-op. The nearby Compton Verney is a great place for days out, featuring an art gallery and a park with labyrinths and bird hides. Take a picnic and admire the rolling hills and open countryside at Burton Dassett Hills, the ideal country park for walks and flying a kite. There are several National Trust properties within easy driving distance, including Upton House and Gardens, Charlecote Park, Farnborough and Hidcote. It takes only half an hour by car to reach the Cotswold towns of Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Woodstock, home to Blenheim Palace. Several high street and independent shops, pubs, cafes, and restaurants can be found in the nearby market towns of Banbury and Royal Leamington Spa. It is also a similar distance to Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick with its famous castle and Bicester Village, a shopping paradise. Pub and restaurant ¾ miles.
