Located in the pretty Cotswolds village of Sutton-under-Brailes, Honeysuckle Cottage overlooks the village green and is a classic, picturesque, Grade ll listed thatched cottage which is the perfect getaway for two couples or a small family seeking a peaceful break in the Cotswolds. Park-up in the off-road parking space at the end of the front garden and make your way up to the front door via the front garden and enter into your lovely home-from-home. You are welcomed straight into the well-presented galley kitchen, where you can cook up tasty meals using the electric oven and hob as your loved ones lay the wooden dining table in the living/dining room, ready to tuck into your meal. Pop open a bottle of bubbly to celebrate the start of your holiday! The sitting area is a warm and welcoming space, overlooking the village green, where you can curl up on the inviting furnishings and watch a film on the flatscreen TV, as the flame-effect fire creates a gentle glow and warming feeling in the entire room. When the night draws to a close, make your way up to the eaves of the cottage where you have a choice of two lovely bedrooms; the first contains a super-king-size bed which can be set up as twin beds, and the second contains a king-size bed which can be set up as twin beds. In the morning, there will be no queues for the bathroom, as you’ll find a bath with a hand-held shower, basin and WC in one bathroom and a walk-in shower and basin in the other. The garden is accessed via French doors in the living/dining room, which has a lovely lawn area and an outdoor table and chairs set, as well as an additional two-seater table and a swing seat, making it the perfect space for alfresco dining. Our rear garden is beyond the path and completely enclosed by a fence making it secure for children and dogs. Once you’re ready for the day, take a stroll around the quaint village of Sutton-under-Brailes where you will find a number of local pubs, including Cherington Arms and George Inn Brailes, where you can enjoy warming meals and a cheeky tipple, as well as a wonderful walking trail leading up to Lower Brailes. The village is close to the famous Cotswold market town of Moreton-in-Marsh where you can visit the small but fine collection WW II memorabilia at Wellington Aviation, and discover the range of falcons, eagles, owls and other birds of prey at Cotswold Falconry Centre and finish off your day with a tipple and meal at The Black Bear Inn. Make your way to Chipping Campden where you can enjoy the stunning views over the Vale of Evesham at Dover’s Hill, where you can join the Cotswold Way, which is a 100-mile walking trail, taking you through picturesque villages, breath-taking countryside and famous ancient sites and finish off your day with a heart-warming meal at The Swan in Broadway – the second stop on Cotswold Way! There is something for everyone in Sutton-under-Brailes, and Honeysuckle Cottage is the perfect base for you and your loved ones.
