Oakdene is a stunning, detached house nestled in the quiet hamlet of Upper Quinton, Warwickshire. Hosting four guests with spacious living areas and an enclosed garden, the property is ideal for a self-catering family holiday in the Cotswolds. Oakdene is enclosed by a wooden gate and has off-road parking for three cars on a gravelled driveway, making it your own peaceful escape. Inside, you will find a contemporary space with quaint, cottage features throughout and plenty of space for the whole family to gather together or find a quiet spot to relax. What's more, the ground floor of Oakdene has underfloor heating throughout to give tired feet a well-earned treat. The large living/dining room welcomes you after a long day's adventure, with a plush sofa and armchair, electric fire and Smart TV to watch a film and relax. Fully equipped and with clean, simple décor, the kitchen is a lovely, spacious and light setting to rustle up a big breakfast to fuel your day, or prepare your family's favourite home-cooked meal to be served around the dining table. The neighbouring utility has space for muddy boots, a handy washing machine and a freezer, along with a cloakroom with basin and WC. When sleep calls, head upstairs to unpack your belongings in the smart bedrooms, with one super-king-size with zip/link and one twin, an ideal set up for a small family. Both bedrooms also have slanted ceilings and eaves for a charming, cottage feel. After waking up in the bright and airy bedrooms, the spacious walk-in shower just next door will have you feeling fresh and ready for the day in no time, particularly thanks to the underfloor heating for those colder mornings. Surrounding Oakdene is an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio, ideal for playing family games in the sunshine, or dining alfresco on the outdoor seating and taking in the pleasant surroundings of Upper Quinton. The hamlet and its sister village, Lower Quinton, have the essential amenities to satisfy your self-catering needs, such as a pub serving delicious food for dinner out, and a selection of shops, whilst boasting no through traffic and overlooked by the picturesque Meon Hill. Jump in the car and head south into the Cotswolds for Chipping Campden, a beautiful market town with pretty tearooms and historic architecture, such as the National Trust Market Hall, St James' Church or pack a picnic and take the trail through scenic landscapes all the way to Broadway Tower. A short journey north takes you to Stratford-upon-Avon, a medieval town bursting with history, where you can visit William Shakespeare's birthplace, Anne Hathaway's Cottage & Gardens and visit Tudor World museum where the 16th century comes to life. Evesham makes for a wonderful day out with a children's park, the Grade I listed Almonry museum dating back to the 14th century and Regal Cinema with a gallery for a fantastic family evening. Within reach of historical sites and the spectacular countryside of the Cotswolds, Oakdene offers a memorable stay for the whole family.
