The peaceful Canal lies behind the property and offers a beautiful walk along the tow path into the town centre which is only a few minutes away. No trip to this area would be complete without a visit to Williams Shakespeare’s birthplace which is only a 5-minute walk away where you can learn more about the famous playwright. You can even take in one of his plays at the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre or visit Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. You can take a boat trip on the River Avon, visit the Butterfly Farm, have a flutter on the horses at the Stratford Upon Avon Racecourse or simply enjoy the many shops, tea rooms, restaurants, and cafes this fabulous town has to offer. Further afield, within easy reach, are Kenilworth and Warwick with their ancient castles, Leamington Spa’s regency architecture, Birmingham, and the NEC. The beautiful Cotswolds begin 15 minutes’ drive away, with Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-Marsh both very accessible. Golf is available nearby.
