A very spacious, comfortable and well furnished house in a tranquil setting with a relaxing outlook over the River Avon. In season, keen anglers can try coarse fishing from a platform partially over the river at the bottom of the garden. Here, ducks venture from the river into the garden, and occasional boats, and swans with their young, can be seen on the water. There is a good sized lawn and ample parking space at the front of the property, and is ideal for couples, family and friends. The patio runs the full length at the rear of the holiday property and the garden bank leads to the riverside footpath, which goes to the centre of Stratford (about 2 miles), with its churches, historic buildings, theatres, restaurants, shops and sports centre. Stratford racecourse is 1/2 mile from the house. Nearby is the Vale of Evesham and the Cotswolds with their delightful towns and villages, and Warwick with its magnificent castle and racecourse. Birmingham and Coventry are an easy drive away, as are the Malvern Hills. Anne Hathaway’s cottage at Shottery 1 mile. Shop ¾ mile, post office and pub, 1 mile.
