Immaculate Quiet Coach House In Garden, Birmingham, Birmingham

West Midlands. Sleeps up to 4

This is a lovely coach (carriage) house converted to a one bedroom stand-alone flat in a private garden in beautiful Moseley.

It has a massive double bed (UK King), plus a double pull out sofa bed and a double air mattress to accommodate up to 4 travelers.

There is ample FREE on-street parking outside the house on the suburban road with light traffic, though no private parking on the drive.

This is a wonderful place to live and is fully furnished.

It is fairly child-friendly and opens to the back garden. It has a 2nd downstairs toilet which is a converted garden toilet, but it is unheated.

You will have full use of the coach house, private terrace, and garden. The garden is shared with the main house but is spacious and beautiful. Your view from your living room is of roses, a wooden bridge, and lovely greenery. Please note this is a fully non-smoking space as the smell of smoke could linger for future guests.

Your space is completely your own and we respect your need for quiet and relaxation. The coach house has a TV with Sky, DVD, alarm clock and wifi. It has a mini kitchen with a combo microwave oven, toaster, kettle, cooker, and basic equipment.

You will be offered high-quality linens, a cozy dressing gown, and fluffy towels. Anything further you require, just ask! The private kitchenette is stocked with tea and coffee. It has a fridge, cooker, mini-oven, microwave and plenty of cutlery and dishes. If you need anything, you can ask to borrow from the main house where our chef's kitchen is fully loaded.

Moseley is a funky, Bohemian village, winner of the annual Village in Bloom awards for many years, and winner of one of the best Farmer's Markets in the region (3rd Saturday of the month). We have many wonderful and unique restaurants, cafés and bars, plus our home is just 7 minutes walk to the bustling Moseley Village Square.

A 5-7 minute walk will get you to regular buses which are just a further 10-20 minutes to the city centre/trains (4 miles). Taxis/Uber are about £7 to the city centre. There is plenty of free on-street parking!

You are also welcome to use our American sized washer/dryer to refresh your laundry if you are traveling.

We have a number of guidebooks and can recommend insider tips for touring the Midlands. Should you wish to recycle, you may leave it in the kitchen pantry (double doors across from back door in kitchen) or put them directly in the blue lidded bins in the courtyard toward the Coach House. Rubbish goes out every Thursday night for Friday collection, and Recycling goes every other Friday. We do have foxes in our garden from time to time which can trigger the security lights. Sometimes this can be alarming, but just be aware that they are just a bit of wildlife in the city. If you need any other kitchen utensils for your time with us, just ask. We try to keep the kitchen stocked with items that you may need, but we are always happy to invest in something else that might make your stay better. Finally, the Coach House is a converted old barn for the horses in for the main house, built in 1889. We converted it in 2008 but were unable to do much with the ceiling height in the shower room. If you are very tall, please be mindful that you may find the shower area a bit fun to work with;the downstairs toilet may be more comfortable with you, but please mind it is unheated.

If you need any lightbulbs or repairs done in your space during your stay, simply get in touch. We want to ensure things are fixed right away.

Our home is smoke and pet FREE. Please do not book to stay here if you or any of your guests smoke. You can leave your shoes on our porch along with any coats you need to hang. Please park on the road outside the house, not on the drive. There is ample free parking on our road, but the driveway cannot accommodate an extra vehicle. We request quiet after 11 pm and before 7 am. The minimum stay is 2 nights, please
