Around a 10-minute drive from the property, you’ll find the highly regarded town of Frome. Built on the fringes of the Mendip Hills, Frome is a place of great civic pride for those who call it home - and if you pay a visit, you’ll soon understand why. A hub for local arts and music, the town boasts a beautiful live music venue, two theatres, and stacks of shops and eateries, all at the edge of the glorious Exmoor National Park.

Of course, one of the jewels in the vicinity is the historic city of Bath, a little under a 30-minute drive away. A popular tourist destination for a good reason, here you can visit the spring-fed Roman baths that give the celebrated city its name, enjoy a soak at the unique Thermae Bath Spa, wander among gorgeous Georgian architecture on the city streets, take in the view from Bath Abbey Tower, and even step back in time with a visit to the delightfully genteel Jane Austen Centre, a museum celebrating Bath’s most famous resident of them all, the legendary novelist Jane Austen.
