Welcome to West Barn Lodge, originally a 19th century stone threshing barn and dairy on our farm of which we have recently and lovingly converted into a large and luxury nine bedrooms holiday home, providing stays for groups of up to 18 guests, here under the rolling hills of rural Fovant, in south west Wiltshire.

The Lodge and its expansive grounds, is located within a private former farmyard and is offered with full exclusivity for all stays. The Lodge has a number of rooms for guest use to include games room, reception and our large stone dining hall, with seating capacity of up to 32 guests around our bespoke made rustic tables. There is a double wood burner to one end and mezzanine snug above with double doors opening to the flagstone terrace, offering further space to recline and enjoy a summer evening in the unspoilt countryside surroundings. It is the perfect space to wine and dine and relax inside and out, whether it be by the firepit, or within the heated hot tub.

We offer the Lodge for self catered stays as standard, however with our fully equipped kitchen, we can coordinate private chef and caterers for any occasion, which is popular choice for many guests wishing to host a special weekend away with us, without the need to cook.

Within the nine bedrooms are large comfy super king double beds throughout, all complete with fully en-suite bathrooms with both separate baths and showers offered in each. There is no bedroom better or worse, nor expense spared during the construction to ensure the best nights sleep. Seven of our bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with direct access to the southern terrace with undisturbed rural views across to the Fovant Downs. Two of our bedrooms, being our largest are located upstairs and offer extra space for those with young children. We can also split a number of our beds to twins on request prior to your stay.

Next door to the Lodge, is our very recent, and latest conversion being The Dutch Barn. A former grain store, which we have turned into our new wedding and events venue, which can be hired for parties, celebrations, teambuilding, yoga, wellness and everything in-between. We are more than happy to offer the barn as part of your stay, or as individual event or something larger. Please do feel free to ask us the question.

We have ample private parking for 100+ cars at The Lodge and can offer electric vehicle charging for a weekend usage fee.




This lodge is located in Salisbury. The area's natural beauty can be seen at New Forest National Park and Cranborne Chase and the West Wiltshire Downs, while Messums Wiltshire and Gold Hill Museum are cultural highlights.
