This inviting lodge lies on the edge of the village of Landford, in the beautiful New Forest National Park, Wiltshire. Set over the ground-floor with well-equipped facilities throughout, including an on-site restaurant, 7 Wild Haven is a lovely base for a family of four looking to escape to Wiltshire. After parking up directly outside the lodge, step into the open-plan living space and make yourself at home, curling up on the sofa and flicking on the electric fire and watching a film from the Smart TV. Cross the threshold into the kitchen, where the head chef can become acquainted amongst the appliances, whilst the dining table can be set for a family feast. As the night grows darker, wash away the day in the shower room before retreating to the bedrooms, including a king-size with en-suite shower room and a twin, each neutrally presented. Just opposite lies the on-site restaurant, where you can enjoy a night off cooking, whilst there is also an on-site children’s playground for the little ones to enjoy. Head out of the lodge to find the park shop, ideal for picking up the essentials or treat yourself to a cooked breakfast. Feeling energetic? Why not try out one of the many park activites including segways, archery, cycling or relax by the lake for a spot of fishing. Step out of the gate at the back of the park for a walk around the New Forest and meet the local wildlife including deer, ponies, ducks and even owls. The local area is filled with scenic splendour, with the New Forest offering idyllic glades, ancient woodland, open moors and heathland, be sure to remember your walking boots as you traverse this magical region. There is a wealth of things to do and places to explore in the New Forest from award-winning gardens, theme parks, farms and museums, to exciting outdoor activities and watersports. If you fancy a change of scenery, head to the city of Southampton, a bustling location with a number of attractions including the SeaCity Museum with its interactive model of the Titantic, whilst Salisbury and Winchester possess ageless beauty and captivating history, with their striking Cathedrals sitting in the heart of the city. However you choose to spend your holiday time, look forward to an exciting break at 7 Wild Haven.
