Severn Manor is a big and beautiful English manor house where original period features, classic furnishings and up-to-the-minute facilities combine to give you a rich and lavish setting for your large family holiday, celebration, or hen or stag party. This big house with Wow factor also makes the perfect backdrop to fairytale weddings and prestigious corporate events.
A private gated entrance leads to the front of the house where the views roll on and on for miles across the glorious Worcestershire landscape. Step inside the spacious reception hall and you’ll start to feel very special because it has all the grandeur of a stately home; warm oak floors with wool rugs, deep red flock wallpaper, gilt-framed oil paintings and a huge fireplace. That classic country house look is continued throughout Severn Manor, it’s like a baby Downton Abbey, exclusively yours!
Off the reception hall are the Oak Room and the formal Drawing Room, both with phenomenal carved oak fireplaces; the Drawing Room has a baby grand piano, so have a tinkle of the ivories after dinner, just like they did in Victorian times. A tiled inner hall leads to the main staircase, stunning in oak and wrought iron; look up and you’ll notice the ornate ceiling mouldings, all part of the historic character of this beautiful English country house.
Next to the Drawing Room is The Snug, another room where those rich red hues work to wonderful effect, giving the feel of a Victorian ‘card Room’.
Then there’s the Breakfast Room, with an outlook over the pretty garden, the perfect spot to kick start your day with coffee and croissants. This leads through to the Formal Dining Room, with double aspect windows, garden views and all the feel of a stately home; a door leads through to the Orangery which in turn opens onto the veranda and the south-facing terrace at the back of the house.
The kitchen is straight ahead of the inner hall, and Wow, what a kitchen! Light and airy with modern fitted units, and the centrepiece is a period chunky table and benches. Also on the ground floor are a very handy laundry room and a Wc.
On the first floor are 6 classically styled bedrooms and 4 very sophisticated bathrooms that have freestanding baths and period furnishings. Relax in a bath full of bubbles before snuggling into a super-comfy half tester bed for a restful night’s sleep.
In the morning sip tea in bed whilst you take in those spectacular views.
There's also a huge games room on the first floor, with a pool table, casino, and plenty of family games for you to play together; it leads through to a fully equipped cinema room so get the popcorn in and plan a family movie night. On the top floor are 2 further bedrooms and a shower room; the West Wing Room is another fantastic room for a family, with snooze space for 5, and the Harrow Room is an excellent choice for older children/adults, sleeping 4
Additional accommodation for 6 is available in Severn Manor Cottage at an extra charge. Severn Manor Cottage is in the grounds of Severn Manor and is a contemporary house with 2 first floor bedrooms that both sleep 2, kitchen, lounge and a downstairs double bedroom.
Book Severn Manor for up to 25 guests or book with Severn Manor Cottage to sleep 29.
