17thC Meets Stylish Design In Gorgeous Broadway, Broadway

Worcestershire. Sleeps up to 4

Cosy up for a few days in a very special place! Chancewell is a sweet first floor flat on Broadway’s lovely High Street, directly opposite the famously swish Lygon Arms Hotel.

- A private garden is yours

2 double bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms & 350 years of character in every wonky wall. We've renovated it very carefully, completing in 2019. Smart heating & remote control lighting sit alongside ancient oak beams & original mullion windows. Enjoy privacy in the garden with the village at your doorstep.

The apartment and its garden are all for your private and exclusive use. You'll enter from your own front door on the High Street and come straight upstairs, minding your head on a characterful oak beam.

Here you'll find the double aspect kitchen/living/dining room, with views over village street life below. There are two spacious double bedrooms, one to the front and one - with kingsize bed - to the back of the building. The main bathroom includes a claw foot bath with period design sitting shower attachment and the small cloakroom has a second loo and sink.

The secluded garden is accessed via the High Street then a historic corridor between buildings.

The interior space is quirky with wonky walls, floors and a low doorway into the main bedroom. It oozes charm, character and is very comfortable, with newly fitted smart wool carpet, high end beds and bedding. We think you'll love it, as we do!

Guests will have keys to their own front door and everything inside is for their private enjoyment. There's also a private grassed private garden to the back of the building.

We live 40 minutes away by car, but are immediately available by phone or text. We're also very responsive to emails. Our housekeeper lives a little further up Broadway's High Street and will help should there be an emergency.

Broadway village, beautiful and historic, is a memorable place to stay and a perfect base from which to tour the local area and head off for stunning Cotswolds walks.

The pretty High Street is lined with mature trees, period houses and honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages.

Several sweet cafes, pubs and high end restaurants will spoil you for choice and the famous Lygon Arms Hotel with its wine bar, grill and spa is right across the road.

Everything's within a couple of minutes' walking distance, with no need to venture further than the High Street should you choose. You can leave your car on the edge of the village and forget about it for a few days!

The country walks and their views are wonderful and there's now a steam train to Cheltenham if you fancy it. There are bus connections to the towns nearby from the bus stop just up the road and a local tuk-tuk initiative is also a possibility.

If you do choose to drive, you're ideally placed to explore Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon to the north, Oxford to the east and all manner of village gems and stately homes in between.

Free parking is 10 minutes' walk away. Loading and unloading can be done right outside, but after that the only very nearby parking is in one of the limited number of 1 hour bays on the High Street, if one is available. The plus side of this is that the centre of the village is spacious and green. It has escaped becoming a car-park, unlike some other Cotswolds villages.

We'll explain to you where you can park for free, about 10 mins walk away, and you also have the long and medium-term car park options, should you prefer. Once you have the insider information you can forget about your car for the duration of your stay and access cafes, shops and restaurants easily on foot.

The apartment is a dog-free space. There are dog boarding places/hotels in the area though, should you have the need.

Located in Broadway, this apartment is in a rural area. Cotswolds and Broadway Tower Country Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Snowshill Manor and Garden and Hidcote Manor Garden. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Spiers and Hartwell Jubilee Stadium or Prescott Shooting School. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
