Location map of 'Hove Lawns' Blue Flag certified beach

Just 1km west of Brighton central beach is the more relaxed stretch of Hove seafront. Leaving behind the exciting vibrancy of the busy central area, you will find that the less crowded and more sedate pace of Hove will provide you with the chance to unwind.A twenty five minute stroll west, from the center of Brighton, will bring you to the Blue Flag Beach of Hove. A shingle beach that offers space to relax, with its own beach lifeguard station nestling under the red and yellow flags. Our beach team will be on hand to offer safety advice, and their watchful eye will put your mind at rest as you enjoy a dip in the sea.The promenade, bordered on one side by the open ocean and the large green expanse of Hove lawns the other, offers a chance to enjoy the fresh sea air and stretch your legs while taking in the stunning Regency architecture of the seafront buildings. If a family picnic, or game of frisbee with friends is more your style then the soft lawns directly behind the beach will be the place to meet. The busy bars and array of restaurants of Brighton central make way for the more traditional open air cafes, yet it’s only a short walk to the numerous pubs, cafes and restaurants of Hove itself.
