The cottage is nestled within the peaceful village of Barrington which has a lovely pub on the green and a village shop. There is a train station in Shepreth, just 1 mile away, with direct links into both central Cambridge and London, so you are well placed to enjoy the very best of Cambridgeshire and beyond. Audley End House which hosts shows and open air concerts throughout the year is within easy reach, as is the National Trust s Wimpole Hall. There is a local wildlife park featuring a variety of animals including tigers (1 mile) and for lovers of history, the Imperial War Museum at Duxford (7 miles) is highly recommended with its regular air displays throughout the year. You enter this welcoming property via the front door which leads you through into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has a comfortable two seater sofa and an armchair which faces the Smart TV, and also has a dining table and two chairs ideal for breakfast, lunch or an evening meal together should you wish to dine in. The kitchen area has everything you need to prepare a meal, with its electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The double bedroom has plenty of storage for your personal items and leads off from the lounge. There is also a shower room with WC. Outside, to the front of the property, you have a table and two chairs and there is also an enclosed shared seating area with a table and chairs. There are further shared areas around the owner s grounds with furniture provided, and by prior arrangement with the owner. There is a shared social area with a TV, sofas, and a small gym area which includes a treadmill, cross trainer, exercise bike and some resistance equipment. The shared outdoor swimming pool and shared hot tub are available daily between 2.00pm 8.00pm and is accessible for guests by prior arrangement with the owner on your arrival at the property.
