Upon entering Dolbelidr, you will be welcomed by the seamless blend of period charm and stylish furnishings, and traditional finishing touches that the owners have provided.
The modern and well-equipped kitchen provides you with everything needed to cook up a feast and leads straight through to the conservatory, with a large wooden dining table that comfortably seats ten guests. The conservatory enjoys beautiful views of the hills and the garden in abundance.
For more formal celebration meals, the main dining room has retained all the charm and character of an age gone by where to dress for dinner is certainly the order of the day.
The beautiful formal sitting room is the perfect place to relax on the sumptuous sofas in front of the wood burning stove, where you can spend evenings relaxing, reading or catching up with your friends and family. Two further reception rooms are on the ground floor, with comfortable seating and Smart televisions, there is enough space for everyone to relax in solitude, or share an evening watching a film together.
The main staircase leads up from the grand hallway to the first floor where five tastefully furnished bedrooms await you. Each bedroom has been individually decorated to complement the style of this charming house, all of which enjoy beautiful views of the Clwydian Hills.
Equally, the bathrooms have all been sympathetically restored to cater for modern day guests needs, each one offering either a walk-in shower or a bath with an overhead shower.
A second staircase leads you back down to the main kitchen and back entrance of the house, reminiscent of days long ago when the top floor would have housed the live in staff.
Dolbelidr is surrounded by soft landscapes with plenty of space for the children to run around. To the rear is a beautiful south-facing terrace, ideal for a game of boules or to just simply sit outside and soak up the breath taking views of the Clwydian Hills. There is also access to an enclosed area with secure bike storage and a space where dogs can be let off leads.
