New for 2023!
Welcome to our Japanese themed Tea House! If you enjoy George Clarke's 'Amazing Spaces', you'll love it here! A wonderfully bright and airy eco-build, converted from the owner's original art studio. With Oriental inspiration throughout the property, it has many Zen-like qualities of clean lines, cool decorative tones and bringing nature indoors. With large windows, patio doors and polished bamboo flooring throughout, you will feel as if you are right in the heart of the countryside. This is a property for relaxing and simply enjoying all that nature has to offer. Try the Wild Running Track through the woodland, or opt for a spot of forest bathing! From the roaming wildlife to the lily pond and down through the sub-tropical gardens, full of lush plants, shrubs and trees, you'll be certain to feel refreshed and reluctant to leave once your holiday has ended.
And yet, despite being in the midst of natural serenity, the property is close to a village for your daily amenities and just a few minutes' drive from the A30, making the rest of Cornwall easily accessible. Both the north and south coast are yours for the choosing - both within a ten-minute drive, and Marazion would be your nearest town, just over a mile away. There's a wide range of gardens, art galleries and fantastic restaurants within a 15-minute car journey. Chysauster Ancient village is close by; it's the remains of a Roman settlement, occupied almost 2,000 years ago. Set on a hillside, the views are stunning, and there's a fantastic array of fauna, flora and wildlife. The coastal fishing port of Newlyn is definitely worth a visit; famous as the home of Newlyn's School of Art, the town is steeped in Cornish history and has a range of fantastic restaurants.
