Hayle is popular with families, with its wide sandy beach and sand dunes stretching up to Gwithian and Godrevy Lighthouse, a great spot for wildlife including dolphins, seals and sea birds. Home to the Tate Modern Art Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum, the picturesque harbour and town of St Ives, with its bustling streets, is an artists haven. Restaurants, pubs and cafés are dotted along the harbour front, perfect for unwinding. There are many local family friendly beaches, boat trips, fishing and endless coastal paths to explore. There is a scenic coastal train running from nearby St Erth station in to St Ives, passing the wide estuary at Hayle and numerous beautiful beaches on the way. Beach 2 miles.
