Friesian Valley Cottages (refs 28804, 28805, 28806, 31303, 31304 and 31287) are situated in the tranquil, rural hamlet of Mawla on the beautiful North Cornwall Coast. It is just 1½ miles from the golden sandy beaches of Portreath and Porthtowan and close to woodlands and bridleways. The holiday cottages are perfectly located for exploring the rugged north coast with its surf, coastal paths and long stretches of sandy beaches, and the south coast with its hidden coves and tranquil sailing waters. The area is popular with walkers as the site is close to bridle paths including the National Trust Coastal Path and just a few yards from the Bissoe Bridle and Cycle Path. Cycle hire available close by. The area is perfect for fishing, bird watching, golf, sailing and surfing, or simply relaxing. There are a number of popular theme parks, National Trust houses and gardens including the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. It is a short drive to Falmouth with its busy harbour and town, Pendennis Castle and The National Maritime Museum. Take the scenic coastal train from nearby St Erth along the coastline in to St Ives town. There is a beautiful long stretch of beach and sand dunes at Hayle leading up to the famous lighthouse of Godrevey and Gwithian. Explore the 250 acres of woodland, bridle paths and small lakes at Tehidy Country Park. Beach 1½ miles. Shop and pub 1½ miles, restaurant 2 miles.
