Barn In West Cornwall, Helford

Cornwall. Sleeps up to 6

A rurally positioned converted barn on a 100 acre, working cattle and arable farm, this is the perfect countryside getaway to the west. Close to the pretty Helford River and six miles from the town of Helston, it s also equidistant between Falmouth and Penzance. Best of all it s on the Lizard Peninsula and within driving distance of the attractions and places of beauty including Mullion Cove, Coverack, the Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, Kynance Cove and Lizard Lighthouse, the most southerly point on the British mainland. The Lizard is almost like a separate country from the rest of the county of Cornwall with its wooded coves, secret rivers, uncommon, geology, unusual cafes and quaint villages. The Lizard also has some great surf spots along the western edge, specifically the characterful Gunwalloe Cove. This tasteful barn conversion is one of four properties, so for large group bookings this could be the ideal solution. On arrival you will find a welcoming lounge with an Smart TV, DVD and French doors that lead out on a patio. The large kitchen/diner comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, dishwasher, dining table and a second set of French doors. Also on the ground floor is shower room with WC. Upstairs is a master bedroom with a king size bed with an en suite shower room with WC. Nearby is another bedroom with a king size zip and link bed (which can be converted into a twin on request). The third bedroom is a nice twin. Also on the first floor is a bathroom with bath and WC. Outside, each property has its own private patio with garden furniture and a hot tub. Close by is an exciting games barn that contains table tennis and pool tables, along with young children s play equipment. There is ample parking outside the cottage.
