You won't have to travel far for a host of exciting activities, with The Crows Nest being part of the Maenporth Estate, you can indulge in some relaxation in the Jacuzzi or sauna, take a dip in the indoor swimming pool, or challenge your partner to a game of tennis on one of the two courts, with a playground to keep the little ones happy and a whole 29 acres of woodland to explore too! Begin each day with a scenic walk along the beach, maybe venturing further along the South West Coast Path for a longer ramble, taking in the beauty of the coast, and stopping in at the lovely The Cove restaurant or for a coffee or snack at the temporary Maenporth Beach cafe. Spend a sunny afternoon exploring Trebah Garden, a beautiful botanical garden with subtropical trees and even a private beach to explore. Animal lovers can delight in a visit to Cornish Seal Sanctuary where a host of adorable sea lions and seals live along with otters, penguins and even ponies, with a café too to stop for a refreshment. Flambards Theme Park is nearby, while a little further away is the amazing National Trust Lizard Point where scenic rocky cliffs and walking paths lead to the most southern point of England's mainland. The vibrant and artsy university town of Falmouth is well-worth exploring, with Pendennis Castle, National Maritime Museum, Castle Beach, Falmouth Art Gallery, and a host of restaurants and pubs to discover.
