A fantastic house that is an ideal base for you to explore the south west of Ireland. You enter this lovely cottage into a large open plan living, kitchen and dining area, great for keeping everyone together and making sure that the cook for the night isn’t left out of the loop when it comes to discussing the highlights of your day or planning the next day’s adventures. After dinner, take it easy and warm your toes in front of the solid fuel stove, while sharing your new photos online with your loved ones back home or watching a movie on the TV. Then, when it’s time to call it a night, you can make your way up to the three comfortable bedrooms upstairs. With the sun out, why not open the patio doors and let the summer’s breeze in while you take yourself outside and sit with a well-earned drink while the young ones run around the lawn? The village of Kealkill is just down the road and will tend to your basic needs and Bantry is close at hand too with its range of shops, pubs and restaurants and of course its spectacular farmers' market held weekly with all the finest local produce on offer. There is also a golf club where you can practice your swing on the USGA standard designed course by Christy O'Connor Junior and Eddie Hackett, and being on the Wild Atlantic Way, there is some spectacular scenery on offer too. Travel a bit further afield and visit the likes of Kenmare, Skibbereen, the Beara Peninsula, or why not take a trip and discover the world famous ring of Kerry? This delightful cottage is set in lovely countryside for a peaceful holiday.
