Canoe or kayak on Loughanure Lake to take in your stunning surroundings in an idyllic setting, whilst avid walkers and wildlife lovers should head to Glenveagh National Park; guided trails will take you through a spectacular deer forest, lakes and the fascinating Glenveagh Castle. For a busier town, head to Donegal with plenty of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and pubs, or enjoy a spot of fishing on Dungloe lake pier. Falcarragh is a short journey north for a wander around Cluain na dTor Nursery & Gardens, pack a picnic for a day on Falcarragh beach, and visit the historical ruins of Ray Church. Known for its gothic-style St. Eunan's Cathedral, Letterkenny is a bustling town a little further north, home to the renowned Regional Cultural Centre for exhibitions, music and film, as well as Letterkenny Golf Club and a variety of restaurants. With so much on offer all year round, Loughanure Lake View is a fantastic, rural escape to take in the impressive sights and culture of Ireland.
