Other superb local attractions are easily reached by car, such as Beamish the Living Museum of the North, a must see for a full day out and a fun trip on a steam train at nearby Tanfield Railway. For shopping, culture, river trips, magnificent cathedrals and history in abundance, why not have a couple of days out in the cities of Newcastle and Durham. The beach at Tynemouth is only 16 miles and of course, there is the whole of Northumberland to explore both coast and countryside. Entering this delightful converted single storey cottage for two, you will find space to hang your coats and leave your walking boots. The contemporary and beautifully tiled and finished shower room is off the hallway with a walk in shower, illuminated mirror above the washbasin and WC. Head into the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area where there are two comfortable sofas to relax on in the lounge and a Smart TV for your entertainment. A Velux roof window adds to the light and airy feel of the space. The kitchen has an electric 2 ring hob, a fridge and kettle and microwave, toaster and cafetière and there is an extendable dining table where you can enjoy your meals together. You can enjoy a good night s sleep in the cosy bedroom with a double bed and open storage for your things. There are two other one bedroom cottages here which you can book as a larger party. Outside, there is a shared paved area with bench style seating. You are welcome to exercise your dog in the owner s field within the grounds. Parking is for one car is private and off road.
