Other superb local attractions are easily reached by car, such as Beamish the Living Museum of the North, a must see for a full day out and a fun trip on a steam train at nearby Tanfield Railway. For shopping, culture, river trips, magnificent cathedrals and history in abundance, why not have a couple of days out in the cities of Newcastle and Durham. The beach at Tynemouth is only 16 miles and of course, there is the whole of Northumberland to explore both coast and countryside. Entering this delightful converted single storey cottage for two, you will find space to hang your coats and leave your walking boots. Outside, there is a shared paved area with bench style seating. You are welcome to exercise your dog in the owner s field within the grounds. Parking is for one car is private and off road.
