Other superb local attractions are easily reached by car, such as Beamish the Living Museum of the North, a must see for a full day out and a fun trip on a steam train at nearby Tanfield Railway. For shopping, culture, river trips, magnificent cathedrals and history in abundance, why not have a couple of days out in the cities of Newcastle and Durham. The beach at Tynemouth is only 16 miles and of course, there is the whole of Northumberland to explore both coast and countryside. The kitchen has an electric 2 ring hob, a fridge and kettle and microwave, toaster and cafetière and there is an extendable dining table where you can enjoy your meals together. You can enjoy a good night s sleep in the cosy bedroom with a double bed and open storage for your things. There are two other one bedroom cottages here which you can book as a larger party. Outside, there is a shared paved area with bench style seating. You are welcome to exercise your dog in the owner s field within the grounds. Parking is for one car is private and off road.
