For the cycling enthusiasts among you, travel 5.5 miles to Whinlatter Forest Park, where there is a great network of mountain biking trails. Here you can keep adventurous guests entertained with a visit to Go Ape! or a wander along the walking paths, keeping an eye out for ospreys. Two miles from home is the vibrant market town of Keswick. Enjoy a night away from the kitchen at one of the many eateries or treat family and friends to a film at the cinema or a show at Theatre by the Lake. Board a boat at the launch and explore Derwentwater, hopping on and off at lakeside villages for walks, drinks or picnics. Head inside the house and make your way into the large lounge to relax and unwind after your journey. Get the open fire roaring and curl up on one of the comfortable sofas. There s a TV and DVD player for a family film night or a movie night with friends in the comfort of your own home. The contemporary kitchen/diner also has a TV as well as a dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker and fridge.
