The pretty village of Edenhall is less than 4 miles from the market town of Penrith, here you will find a great selection of independent shops and restaurants, as well as a train station with a direct service into Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Lake District. The village itself has a country pub serving food and local beer just 350 yards away. Located between the Pennines and the Lake District National Park. Visit Pooley Bridge, which is under 10 miles away, you can take a boat to Howtown where you can walk to Glenridding and catch the boat back to Pooley Bridge. This was one of Wordsworth's favourite walks and offers views of Ullswater and Helvellyn. There are also lovely walks from your front door and lots of opportunities to go cycling along quiet country roads. Located in a pretty courtyard, under a stone archway you will find the property entrance. As you enter the cottage you will find a stylish open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with access out to the enclosed garden. The ground floor is bright and spacious, with lots of contemporary features, there is a well equipped kitchen that features a gas Range style cooker, SMEG fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. There is a dining area within the kitchen area which offers a great social space to sit down together and catch up or make plans for the days ahead. The lounge has comfy seating and a Smart TV, it is a great place to kick back and relax and watch a good movie or catch up on your favourite series. Head up the staircase to the first floor, here you will find a stunning king size master suite with a wood burner, raised roll top bath which looks out the window across the fields. It also has an en suite shower room with a shower and WC, this bedroom has it all and you will find it hard to pull yourself away. There is a second king size bedroom which is also en suite with a shower and WC, this bedroom has a lovely stone feature wall and beams. The private enclosed garden is accessed from the lounge. It has a fabulous hot tub and views over the private lake and estate. There is ample parking on the estate just 100 yards from the property.
