This is the perfect base for you to discover the wonders of the Lake District. Only half a mile south of Hawkshead, you are in an idyllic location for enjoying excellent village shops, pubs, and restaurants, while also benefiting from a peaceful and relaxing spot where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery and wildlife. Ambleside is 6 miles away where you can hire a boat or enjoy a cruise on the lake. A little closer to your retreat, you can visit family attractions such as the famous home of Beatrix Potter, go fishing on Esthwaite Water, or enjoy the forest paths and bike trails at Grizedale. Enter the lodge into the hallway and to your left is a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with multiple windows and patio doors. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Adjacent to the kitchen area is the dining table with seating for four. The lounge area is spacious and comfortable with two armchairs, a two seater sofa, a Smart TV, and a DVD the perfect place to relax or just catch up on the day's news in front of the wood burner. There is also a washing machine within the hallway. Leading off from the dining area is the twin zip and link bedroom (which can be made into a king size on request). Moving back to the hallway, you can then access a separate bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Further along the corridor, you arrive at the master double bedroom with a TV and an en suite shower room with WC. Heading outside there is a large, decked area with tables and chairs perfectly positioned to enjoy the evening sunsets and views over the water. There is off road parking for two cars at the front of the lodge.
