This location offers the perfect base to enjoy the best of both worlds; a coastal holiday, and only a short drive from the Northern Lake District (9 miles). The unspoilt Solway Firth is just 3 miles away, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is home to many species of wading birds, making this area a popular destination for bird watchers. Follow the coast, and on a good day enjoy the views across to Scotland. The market town of Keswick is just 20 miles away, surrounded by fells, and between Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake. Keswick has a great selection of independent shops and restaurants, as does Cockermouth which is just 10 miles away and has a couple of breweries to tour, as well as being home to Wordsworth House and Gardens. This spacious bungalow offers excellent quality and comfort throughout. As you walk through the front door into the hallway, the lounge is to your left, with cosy sofas and a wood burner effect electric fire, and it is clear that this property has been lovingly styled to offer you a great place to kick back and relax. The patio doors open out onto the decking and garden. In the next room, you will find the well equipped kitchen with an electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Tassimo coffee machine, and fridge/freezer. There is a dining table in the kitchen to accommodate the whole party so that you can catch up and make plans over breakfast or dinner. Heading back into the hallway, there is a family bathroom with a separate bath, shower, and WC. There are three bedrooms to the front of the bungalow further along the hallway, a double bedroom with a TV, a single, and a second double. Outside, there is an enclosed garden, a great space for al fresco dining in the warmer weather, and often in springtime, you can watch the lambs in the adjacent fields. There is a private hot tub offering the perfect place to unwind after a day out. The swinging chair, sunbeds, and seating allow you to enjoy this fabulous garden. To the front of the house, there is a private driveway with parking for three cars.
