Moving into the property there is an open-plan living space, with a well-equipped kitchen, an indoor dining table for those cooler nights and a gorgeous leather sofa surrounding the TV with NOW TV and electric fire which fills the room with warmth, but beyond here there is a bathroom, a double bedroom with a TV for when you venture to bed, a twin room which allows flexible sleeping arrangements and another double with a TV and an en-suite shower room so you can get ready for your day in style. On-site there is plenty for all the family to enjoy from children's activities and an on site pub/restaurant but if you can tear yourself away, the beautiful lakeside town of Windermere is just a short drive and has a range of shops and restaurants, whilst a little further is Ambleside which offers a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties, a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip, and the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.
