For keen hikers and hillwalkers tackling Helvellyn, one of the highest mountains in the Lake District is a must, and the pretty woodland and tumbling waterfalls at Aira Force (4.5 miles) are just stunning. For some retail therapy, head to either Penrith or Keswick, both within 10 miles and both offering independent retailers, pubs, cafes, and restaurants. As soon as you arrive at this magnificent property you will be in awe. The owners have brought this property back to life and created a luxurious masterpiece. Heading into the house we have the cosy lounge area with seating, a wood burner, and Smart TV, perfect for an evening s relaxation. Additionally, there is a lovely mezzanine level where you can kick back and enjoy a good book. The kitchen/diner offers space to enjoy a family meal and discuss the day's adventures. The kitchen is a cook's dream and is created to a high standard. There is an island, and plenty of worktop space for all the family to get involved in making a feast.
