Closer to home is the birthplace of Wordsworth, Cockermouth, where a handful of pubs and eateries offer you somewhere to treat yourself to a tasty bite. Just 9.5 miles away lies Bassenthwaite Lake and below, is Derwentwater (15.5 miles). Set over many different levels, this home brilliantly caters for family reunions or getaways with friends.
