Also on this lower level, is a spacious king size bedroom with en suite bathroom and delightful views. From the sitting room area, steps lead up to an oak gallery off which there is a zip and link king size bedroom together with a bunk bedroom and main bathroom. The last bedroom, located above the kitchen and accessed by a winding stone stairway, features a tall arched window overlooking the great hall, a king size bed and en suite shower room. Outside, some 9 acres of land surround the property, making this a wonderful choice for families. Immediately outside the barn are formal lawned areas with herbaceous borders and al fresco dining spots. Beyond this, meadows, fields, fells and woodland are criss crossed by mown paths for enjoying wildlife rich strolls through the grounds. A shepherd s hut overlooks two pretty ponds and offers a delightful base for afternoon picnics or evening BBQs.
